This photo would be an excellent banner for this credit union. The people doing the banner for the actual credit union site might sharpen the contrast and restore the original dimensions to illustrate the actual structure. But flattening the outflung spherical facade of the building accelerates the curve of the structure and allows an onlooker to perceive the effect.

Smithsonian magazine’s seventh annual photo contest allows the magazine and its readers the chance to see the world through your unique lens. After sixth competitions, Smithsonian editors have seen over 89,000 photographs from more than 90 countries around the world.
Getting the show on the road marketing new products involves visual display. Online visual display must demonstrate the three dimensional material look of a product while supplying enough information about the physical product to sell it. Packaging material for sales involves polishing and positioning the product in an appealing array. But getting the photography effectively is another matter.
Action photography is an underestimated skill and an overused technique in many photography genres. In some subject areas, such as microscopic flowers or bridal photos, action photography plays no role at all and actually detracts from the overall value of a shot. When working with animals or children, during a crowded game or inside a competitive photo field, action photography and its details are worth mastering.
Some pictures just punch right out at viewers, and working with children and animals is no show business hyperbole. Children and animals can be cute without super fancy framing and composition. Nature made them cute. All a photographer has to do is focus and click.
