I had a Microstock breakfast this morning. I took a couple of pictures that in my minds eye still lived in an online sleeve, ready for their next step.  While my breakfast was prepared, I resized and cropped. I edit more photos before breakfast than most people do all day.

I love the smell of memory cards in the morning. I love that  I have a system of file storage so that I will know just by the filename what I did with it. This file system works as long as I can remember it. I love that i know exactly who I mailed that file to a year ago. but i never thought i would see the day when my file system and access for photos and images would be more frequently accessed and used than my word processing files. But that day is here.

Managing file size, labeling, and sorting to directories takes time. These kinds of chores are best done when other matters and tasks are kept curled up inside their files.

o keep unruly types from penetrating my file architecture online.
