Micro Floriate
The goals of many micro stock photographers converge when the stock files start marching online. The folder that vends easiest is well tagged and a category that suits what customers are looking for. then the quality of your images can get seen. Purposes for this image might be for a gardening site, a seeds or flower store or nursery, or an online botanical information site.
The above image has been cropped but needed no sharpening, thanks to a low light capture and a clean composition with crisp edges and prominent subject. Natural early morning light provided the uniquely rich color that provides a lot of delicate pink contrast against the base green tone. A number of pictures taken in this same light at the same time of day should be grouped together at some point.
The above image would have tags and be filed in folders for “pink”, color studies, flowers, micro focus, shape, form, and whatever other things take the indexer’s fancy. If the strain of plant (rose) can be identified, put in the Latin name for it. Consider that a certain type of person or famus character mght be symbolized by the object. let your keywords be emotional. “Gentle” might be a good way to describe the color and line shown here.
Dots inside the image mean it’s time to get some compressed air blowing dust off the image sensor. These fragile pieces of the camera don’t react well to aggressive cleaning of any sort. If you see returning artifacts then it’s times to get the dust out. Vibrations cannot be depended upon without damaging some models of camera. Battling grease, dust and freckles is a journey every serious photographer must undertake.
