Micro Food & Labor
Just when you think one market is heating up, you come upon a treasure trove of snaps that reminds you there are always low cost legal image markets you could be specializing in. There are always untapped microstock markets you could be specializing in. Food photos for low cost legal images are an excellent example, for recipes, blogs and cooking sites.
If everyone else is good at landscapes and micro images, concentrate on automobile shots, sustainability market shots, and modeling or kids. Nobody can be in every place at one time in the microstock market at one time, although many try. The quality shows the diversity.
Food photography can be fun and family members do love the spoils. Spending the time to mix four different color milkshakes, for example, and putting different bits on fruit on top can make good image fodder for almost any microsite from summer season relaxing to low calorie recipes. You can wield a marketable advantage over photographers who can’t cook or don’t have access to a kitchen.
It is expecially strategic when you everyone in the microstock markets is zigging and you decide to zag. In photography terms, if the whole online microstock photography populaton is submitting mad space to files of sports images and pharmaceuticals, it’s time for you to get ocean image file shots and food markets. if all shots of beaches and lakes look good, try getting some fish or birds. Split your commitment and the investment will reap ducats over times.
This above image was taken at a bakery with plenty of mouth watering options. This dessert showed a lot of color composition that left the photographer with very little work to do. Even  food items fixed at home can be photographed. By preparing food at home, background options and dishware choices can be chosen to complement the color of the food. Wood and lace, clear glass and opaque glasses can augment color and seasonal treats.
This control can be welcome to cut down on editing time. the raspberry image above is an example. Of course, in the editing phase I needed to balance the shine, extend the space attribute, layer in some more space around the plate, bit map in the shadows of either side of the plate, one gray and one blue, And I had to factor in effects of bright lights on the magenta raspberry dessert.
Then I had to bitmap out some of the visual artifacts where reflections of the shine off the plastic plate were echoed in the dish glass, and touched out with the pencil tool execss shine on the top of the central raspberry. This and other elements could have been controlled at the home kitchen photography layer. I could have had the leisure to change lighting, switch accents, and change backgrounds, (pool, front yard, park bench, dining room table, etc.
