Considerable volumes in the Internet space are centering currently around the development of minisites. What has not yet matched the explosion of minisite developments is the array of graphics tomatch the domain names the sites will be used for.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a flair for graphics to start making banners, logos, graphic suites or skins for the leading CMS software or blog themes, or just borders and images themselves. The above image of marbles was cut down from a much larger picture. At a very small resolution the image can be matched side to side to form a horizontal border itself.

Minisites are composed of a domain name address, an HTML file of site text, and usually some images and graphics to support the page architecture. They can be as elaborate or as brief as the owner prefers. They usually have images. It is best if the images support the name of the website or topic that name refers to.

This can be a lucrative field for professionals whose computer dries teem with topical and domain name keyword centric images and graphics. Very slight skills are needed to start down this new career path. This describes how any computer user can build a graphic for minsite sale. The lesson below was performed using MS Paint, a program found in the accessories file in almost every computer’s listing of Accessories in the Start Menu.

Have a few photos ready to choose from. Find some pattern or configuration of detail within the image, like the mesh of a window screen or the mesh of a tennis racket. The method to framing the graphic elements for a minisite or mini-website can be shown as follows.

1. Identify or take picture with desired pattern or composition field.
2. Crop all other image features out of the image to leave a uniform field mass.
 3. Double the attribute size and save under another filename.
4. Return to the original mass file and repeat procedure, only vertically. Save under a conventional name like “bubblesvert”. This way when you are uploading files the base topic and dimensions will be easier to find. Save as throughout the exercise as you develop freehand new ideas and flex your skill set trying new things.

5. Save one these files as a duplicate and use the pivot tool to select the whole image. Cut and Paste, but remove the deselector tool and press Image, Rotato and select horizontal. The image should flip to match the border edge of its mirror image exactly. This makes an intriguing visual accent within the graphic.

6. If you have finished manipulating the image, Enlarge the view zoom to 800 X  displayed. Look for dingy colors whose brightest colors match hues in the color palette. Dot pick out with restraint a few here and there. Enlarge to normal view size. The resolution should appear slightly more distinct.

7. Work with images, matching them end to end and flipping edges to match until a border or long thin horizontal graphic images has been created.

8. Reduce the size of the image in singular as small as you can get it. This can be an icon for a discussion board or bullet point.

9. Keep working with the images until you have a full suite of images in a variety of sizes and shapes that match in scale and resolution. This is your artillery for the next mini website composition assignment.

10. Find an HTML template online and substitute the template’s graphical items for your own.
