Spending almost $800 on a camera? The concept seems staggering. But let’s follow the money. if we project a model of earnings, that camera just might pay for itself in the first year. The earnings can be drawn from private commissons, website projects, micro stock image earnings, and other savings amounting to the camera purchase price.
Don’t take things for granted. There are photo opportunities in every city if you can focus on what is a contrast to another region or country. Look at the architecture, the cityscape, the air quality, the cars people drive, how they dress, and more.
I followed up looking at available images for a city name website. Nada!!!! Considering how choosy the Microstock photo sites are I should NOT have been disappointed to see there were no image results for the city name I plugged into the search box. If the rejection volume is what I think it is, this is a real flaw in the image acceptance policy. Shouldn’t I be the one to determine if the shots are good enough for me to consider?

The green color stopped me cold and I had to get a grab on it to see how bright it would come out. I like to see the “grab” in the viewfinder and then review the impact in a the thumbnail right when I am present in the picture environment. Emphasis should be on grabbing clean focus images without the demand for a perfect frame picture.
